Booking Process
All supper club nights start promptly at 7pm and finish at 10.30pm. Please see dates and locations opposite. You can select which event you would like to attend as part of the online booking process. After this, you will receive an email containing places to stay in the area where Moorish will be for your specific event, and clarifying any dietary requirements if needed..
You will receive an additional link via email or SMS providing you with the exact location of the boat around two days in advance of the event you have booked. The link will require use of the What3Words app and can be used in conjunction with Google Maps.
The cost per head is £60 for the five courses. Payment is required at the time of booking. There is a two week cancellation period, after which there will be no refunds given. To mediate the cost of the evening, there is a bring your own alcohol policy. A booking of eight people will secure private dining.
If you would like to know a bit more about me and Moorish before you commit to making a booking, there is a short blurb further down this page below the Gallery section.

Brief biography
I'm Paul Bramwell. You can see a cheesy photo of me at the bottom of the home page. I returned to the UK from Bulgaria in August 2024 after running a guesthouse and restaurant - Little River Guest House - with my partner. For seven years. We cooked a three course set menu for guests every night of the week and developed a strong reputation as a food destination. A small number of the very kind reviews are also on the home page.
While my partner was dying of cancer in 2023, I had a vision of cruising around the UK canal network in the sunshine and cooking for dinner guests. I missed the beautiful UK countryside and I love cooking for people, so it seemed the obvious thing to do! A year later the good ship Moorish became mine and I spent six months renovating; learning about the challenges of being a boater; alongside recipe research and menu planning,
I love middle eastern food for it's fresh citrus zing, mild spicing, generous use of herbs, and ingredients that I still think of as exotic. Cooking for me, is my creative outlet. While each dish is important in its own right, its as much about how a selection of dishes go together to create contrasts in flavours and textures. And with my background in community work, I love it when people come together to share food.
